So you have created the perfect digital photo project. Now you are looking for just the right font to complete the project. When you use Storybook Creator (Plus), did you know that the program will use any font that is saved to your computer? What does this mean for you?
It means that you can download new fonts and use them with your Storybook Creator program. This is so exciting! I was always told this was an easy process but it seemed overwhelming to me.
So I have created a step-by-step guide for myself as a reference and thought I would pass it along to you, just in case there is someone out there that would benefit from this too.
One of my favourite sites is called DaFont, which is a font site which allows free downloads, there is no stealing, you can give a donation however for the font you have selected to download.
This was important for me. This site has a vast selection of different fonts for all occasions, holidays, styles, etcetera, with new fonts being added too. I hope you enjoy finding and using your new fonts for your digital photo projects as much as I do.
- Go to the website DaFont.
- Choose your font and click on the download tab.
- Next, choose the save option, this will make a permanent copy of the file to your machine.
- Next, choose open folder option. This will bring you to the folder where your file is saved in your computer.
- Your new download will be highlighted, right click this and select extract all as currently your file is compressed. Then hit extract.
- Right click the TTF (True Type Font) file, then click install.
- Now you’re done! Your new font will now show in your font list. Enjoy your new font!
