Oh I am so excited! I discovered how to do something new with my StoryBook Creator Plus program today while creating a page for my nephew’s christening album. I discovered the rubber stamp option.
My intention was to put a water mark behind my text box, so this is what I did.
- First my image for the water mark, for this example I used a cross. Now when looking through the digital embellishments and digital overlays offered, I did not find the image offered. I eventually found the image I needed.
- Once I had my image, I placed my computer mouse pointer over the image and right-clicked the mouse.
- When the menu popped up I clicked the copy option. Once I had copied the image I was able to bring it into the Storybook creator program onto the page I was working on.
- With your Storybook Creator program and project open, simply place your mouse on the page and right-click your mouse.
- When the menu popped up, I clicked the paste option.
- Once the image was pasted on the page, I dragged it off to the side, off the page to continue working just as a personal preference.
- I right-clicked over the image I would like to make a stamp out of.
- From the menu that was shown, I clicked the Rubber stamp option (4th option from the top of the menu list).
- A new window opened up. In this new window I created my stamp image.
- I chose my colour under the selected color tab, the pattern my stamp will leave on the page, I let my creative juices flow and have fun here. If I didn’t like the image I created I could have always clicked the undo tab and try again.
- Once I was finished with my selections, I clicked the create button at the bottom of the screen. I have now had created a stamp image from my original image on my page.
- To move the image on my page, I simply placed my mouse pointer over the image and left-clicked.
- While continuing to hold down the left mouse button I dragged my image to an area of my page I wanted it to be.
- I also had the option of creating larger sizes of my stamp image by placing my mouse pointer overtop of one of the little white boxes surrounding the image.
- When a little arrow appeared I could simply left-click my mouse and drag the arrow until I have reached the size of image I would like for my project.
Voila! I had now created a stamped image! That wasn’t so hard now was it?
